Exhibition with Justin Jun, Rini Mitr, Hye Ji Nam and Ye-In Yi

The exhibition A cosmic encounter shows currents works from Justin Jun, Rini Mitr, Hye Ji Nam and Ye-In Yi. Together, the artists research the representation of the library as an artistic space and create the relation in-between an artistic project and the site-specific features.

Justin Jun, born in 1990 in South Korea, studies Contextual Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Justin Jun?s work investigates the human relationship in the theme park, architecture and space in the form of intermediately drawing, painting and sculpture.
Rini Mitr, born in 1984 in Jamalpur/Bangladesh, studied at the Fine Arts Institute at the University of Dhaka and currently studying Contextual Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Rini Mitr?s works emerge from her own self-understanding which eventually reveals her surroundings. In her paintings she describes the power of the human body and discovers the relation of its inside and outside. She is in constant discussion with what is (non) visually present and absent. Hye Ji Nam, born in 1993 in Seoul/South Korea, studied Fine Arts at the University of Korea in Seoul, currently studying Contextual Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. The works from Hye Ji Nam are focusing on mixed media performances, videos and drawings about the theme of body, sexuality and social taboos. Ye-In Yi born in 1988 in Seoul/South Korea, studied Fine Arts at the Hong Ik University in Seoul, currently studying Contextual Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Ye-In Yi?s works research the different forms of perception from what she has seen and experienced and the thinking that lies behind it. She paints, draws and merges objects as the common denominators of our personal environment as if you see the objects at the first time. Exhibitions: ?Zero sign? (Seoul/KR), ?Oksangsangjum?
